I’m WHITNEY!
The photographer behind Smiles by Whitney. I photograph weddings with a timeless, heartfelt approach, focused on genuine connection, natural emotion and moments that unfold organically. My work is designed to be both evocative and enduring preserving each celebration in a way that feels honest, elevated, and meaningful for years to come.
My approach
Photography, to me, is more than images. It’s connection, emotion and story. I’m drawn to the in-between moments: quiet glances, joyful laughter, raw emotion and the thoughtful details that carry lasting meaning.
My approach is both intentional and heartfelt. I aim to create an experience where couples feel seen, valued and at ease, allowing the most meaningful photographs to unfold naturally. With a balance of gentle guidance and space for authenticity, I create imagery that feels true, elevated and beautifully timeless.
What I love most is preserving life’s most fleeting seasons and transforming them into lasting art. Being trusted to tell a couple’s story is at the heart of what I do, and it’s an honor I never take lightly.

Step 01
Inquiry & Connection
Fill out the contact form and I’ll be in touch to schedule a video call. I love meeting my couples face-to-face to make sure we’re the perfect fit. We’ll talk through your vision, what moments matter most and what it’s like to work with me! I’ll guide you through collection options designed around your unique celebration.
Step 02
Booking & Planning
Once your contract is signed and your retainer is received, your wedding date is officially reserved. We’ll then begin planning your photography experience! Scheduling your engagement session to crafting a personalized timeline. We'll create a family photo listto ensure every important person + grouping is captured.
Step 03
wedding day
On your wedding day, my focus is on creating a relaxed and joyful experience while capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. With a blend of gentle guidance and space for candid moments, I document genuine emotions, in-between moments and beautiful details in a way that feels true to you and beautifully timeless.
Step 04
photo delivery
Congratulations! You’re married! You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery shortly after your wedding, followed by your fully edited collection delivered through a private online gallery. You’ll be able to download and share your images with friends + family, and order prints + heirloom albums, a beautiful way to remember your wedding day for generations to come.
